Emergency Procedures

We highly recommend you familiarise yourself with the appropriate safety documents and the following emergency advice.

 

In the event of a fire call 999

1. Shut all valves on tank or cylinders, and emergency control outside the building, by turning clockwise

2. Call the Fire Brigade and refer to presence of LP Gas tank

3. Keep tank cool by waterspray, if possible

4. Ring the Premier LPG emergency service number 01253 406666

In the event of a suspect gas leak call 01253 406666

1. Extinguish all sources of ignition

2. Shut all valves on tank or cylinders, and emergency control outside the building, by turning clockwise

3. Ring the Premier LPG emergency service number 01253 406666

4. Do not operate electrical switches

5. Open all doors and windows.  Ventilate at low level (LPG is heavier than air)

In the event of gas failure call 01253 406666

1. Check contents indicator and pressure gauge on tank, if fitted

2. Turn off tap at each appliance

3. Shut all valves on tank or cylinders, and emergency control outside the building, by turning clockwise

4. Ring the Premier LPG emergency
